JERRY A. BARBALATT
Jerry Barbalatt is currently a Managing Member of Parker Allen and Company, LLC., an independent financial planning and insurance/investment consulting firm. Ranked as one of "The Big Apple’s Best and Brightest” by New York Resident Magazine in 2002*, Jerry has been sought after for his insights and prescriptions for the building and preservation of personal wealth.
Working with a highly diverse and accomplished team of financial professionals, he provides individuals with a sensible and objective roadmap to managing money, pursuing wealth, and securing their financial future. Now entering his twenty-sixth year in the industry, Jerry takes pride in helping his clients target their financial dreams.

Education: Jerry is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certificant from the CFP Board of Standards and Practices and is also Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC).
He earned a law degree (JD) from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with a Concentration in Tax Law and completed his undergraduate degree (BS) cum laude with a double major in Economics and Accounting from Yeshiva University.
He holds the FINRA Series 7 registration as a Registered Representative and Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, Member FINRA, and is also a licensed insurance agent.
Experience: At Ascott, Jerry provided advanced estate planning strategies to Smith Barney high net worth clients. He was also a Supervising Consultant in the Estate/Financial Planning Practice and Group Benefits Consulting Practice in the New York office of accounting firm KPMG Peat Marwick. Reporting directly to the National Partners-In-Charge of Personal Financial Planning and Group Benefits, Jerry served as an in-house specialist for investment and insurance matters. Previously, he was Director of New Business for Comprehensive Corporate Planning.
